Sweet Chilli Pork Strips

Tasty pork strips in homemade sweet chilli sauce, very simple to make not too spicy so all the family can enjoy this great dish.

The Method

To start with place you chillies, garlic and pepper into your food processor and blitz down until very fine.

In a pan on a high heat place your sugar, vinegar, water, and chilli mix bring it to the boil and then giving it a quick stir. Turn down the heat to low and cook for around 30 minutes until it has reduced by half.

Place your pork strips onto an oven tray and drizzle the oil on top, cook at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Once cooked pour over your chilli sauce and its ready to eat. Any left over sauce can be stored into the fridge for up to 30 days.

3 red chillies

2 garlic cloves

1 large red pepper de-seeded

200 grams sugar

120 ml vinager

280 ml water
