Garlic and herb goujons
Quick and easy family meal that is low cost great tasting also suitable for home freezing.
In you food processor place your bread, garlic cloves and herbs, mix until you have fine bread crumbs place in a bowl.
Whisk your 2 eggs together in a separate bowl and place to one side.
In a third bowl place your flour and set all three to one side.
slice your chicken breasts into nice thin strips ( they dont have to be perfect.)
In a row place chicken slices, flour, eggs then bread crumbs.
start off by flouring each chicken strip then dip into the egg and finally bread crumbs making sure you cover the chicken in all three.
in a frying pan place a small amount of oil to cover the bottom of the pan cook on a high heat, place in your chicken strips once hot and cook and each side for around 3 minutes (or until golden) and serve with whatever you like i had a basic salad.
